Delete Your Data

Last updated: April 6, 2026

What data does Salva store?

Salva stores data in two places: on your device and, if you create a household for family management, in the cloud (Supabase, hosted in AWS us-east-1).

On-device data (never uploaded)

  • Shield state, protection mode, and sensitivity settings
  • PIN hash and biometric enrollment flag
  • Theme, schedule rules, and local activity log

Cloud-synced data (when you create a household)

  • Email address and display name (from Google Sign-In or email registration)
  • Device nicknames, OS version, and app version
  • Protection rules and schedule configurations
  • Content alert metadata (category labels, app names, short snippets — max 100 chars; no raw screen text)
  • Subscription status and entitlement tokens
  • Activity logs and household membership

Salva does not collect: raw screen content, photos, contacts, location, call logs, browsing history, or any advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no third-party analytics SDKs.

How to delete your data

Option 1: In-app “Delete My Data”

The primary way to delete all your cloud-stored data:

  1. Open Salva → Settings → Account → Delete My Data
  2. Confirm the deletion
  3. All cloud-synced data (profile, devices, rules, alerts, activity logs) will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Option 2: Uninstall the app

Uninstalling Salva removes all on-device data (settings, PIN hash, local logs). However, if you created a household, your cloud-stored data remains until you use the “Delete My Data” feature or contact us. We recommend deleting your data before uninstalling.

Option 3: Clear app data

To reset Salva without uninstalling:

  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Go to Apps → Salva → Storage
  3. Tap Clear data and Clear cache

Option 4: Request account deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us at [email protected] with the subject “Delete My Data” and the email address associated with your Salva account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Google Play subscription

Subscription billing is managed entirely by Google Play. To cancel your subscription and remove billing data:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap Menu → Subscriptions → Salva
  3. Tap Cancel subscription

For questions about Google Play billing data, refer to Google’s support page.
