A parental screen-lock and device management app for Android, designed to help families manage shared screen time with less stress and more privacy.
What is Salva?
Salva is an Android app that locks your screen to prevent accidental touches during calls, videos, and device handoffs. It is designed for families who share devices and want simple, effective boundaries without invasive monitoring.
Beyond screen locking, Salva includes parental controls with on-device content monitoring (Screen Sentinel), screen time management, smart automations that activate protection automatically, and a family dashboard for managing multiple devices remotely.
Salva works on Android 8.0 and later. It is currently in private beta, with public launch planned for June 10, 2026 on Google Play.

Privacy over surveillance
We do not read messages, record calls, or track real-world location. Protections run on-device wherever possible.

Families, not profiles
Salva is built to reduce screen stress for real families — not to build advertising profiles or sell data.
Our privacy commitment
Salva does not include advertising SDKs or ad trackers, and we do not sell, share, or monetize personal data. The only third-party services that receive product data are Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reports, and Firebase Analytics, which runs only if you opt in. When family management features require cloud sync, only the minimum necessary data is transmitted — encrypted in transit and at rest.
On-device features like screen locking, touch blocking, and Screen Sentinel content scanning work entirely locally, and Salva never uploads the contents of your screen. Only when one of your keywords matches does Screen Sentinel send a short excerpt of the matching text — at most 200 characters — which is deleted after 7 days.
